A Statement of Faith is a written declaration of the church’s position on matters that pertain to the essentials of historical Christianity. The following statements comprise Calvary Chapel Chino Hills’ Statement of Faith:
We believe that the Bible is inspired by God in its entirety, and is without error in the original autographs, a complete and final written revelation from God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)
Calvary Chapel Chino Hills began as a Monday night home fellowship from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa where Pastor Jack was ordained into the ministry. The fellowship started in August 1990 with just six people in the Andrew’s home in Chino Hills, California. Each week the furniture in their home would be moved out to make way for more chairs and more people. From the very beginning, the Lord blessed the fellowship with slow but steady growth.
